KFC Tarpots - London Road — Restaurant in Castle Point

Was greeted by a member of staff half leaning on the desk. Cam I help you she asks, I have her my order to which she then looked at another member of staff to take the order. Two Tower stacker meals please I said. Staff member looked a boy dumbstruck, to which a third member popped around the corner asking me again what I wanted!!! Food was put in a bag and left on the side, just wait someone will do your drinks (another member of staff, with no customer experience) . She spoke to the girl on till, you need to 2 tangos. The girl seemed a bit peed of at this a she turned a bright shade of red. As she was doing the drinks the machine decided it wouldn't stop, so turned into a bit of an issue. Everyone in the place knew about it. To be fair she apologised, put the drinks in front of me and walked off to tell everyone about it. Anyway I finally got home with my takeaway, only to find one burger less than I paid for. I live roughly 10 mind away so wasn't prorated to drive back, so I tried calling to make them aware of their mistake. Surprisingly there was no answer. Disappointing visit to KFC this evening. I had the 3 piece meal with a cup of tea and some BBQ chicken bites totalling £8.49 The tea was fine, quite good for a fast food outlet The BBQ bites were quite good value at £1.99 for 4, they were quite large, at least two bites each piece and the BBQ sauce was full of flavour. The reason I am only giving 2 stars is the following; The portion of chips was tiny, about half an adult handful. I also specifically told the server I only want legs and thighs for the pieces of chicken. They said this was fine, when I opened the bag there was a wing piece which I really do not like so one piece of chicken wasted. KFC is not cheap and when you are paying their prices compared to say a Dixy chicken you expect a decent amount of fries and the chicken pieces...

Every time I come to this KFC, I’m greeted to employees being incredible loud and lazy. Today I go in to eat inside, 7 employees I see and a total of 7 tables dirty with nobody cleaning them (was not busy standing around) I always go in and hear the staff they so loud and annoying. Today I’m greeted to a lovely conversation about a “fat customer who came in earlier that day with domino’s” and another employee talking about how we might as-well be shut we make £200 only from 9pm.
