They burnt my food and had no milkshakes then I was lied to and told that my replacement burger was £9 the same price as the milkshakes would have been but in reality it was only worth 3.55 so they stole my money. When I phoned up to complain the chef said that's how the burgers come and had nothing to say about lieing to me about not giving me my moneys worth and he was very rude about it and hung up on me twice. I'd not recommend anyone to spend their hard earn money there as for the price I at least expect it to be cooked properly. Shame on you wimpy. I usually love wimpy but will never use the Benfleet one again I'm very disappointed and still hungry as I can't eat what was delivered to me if looks messy...
Read moreUnlike others who take photos and say it needs "repair" when Wimpy was obviously changing and adapting because of Covid, and moaning about paying £2 for a cup of tea (You're paying for the service not just a t-bag and hot water you moron) I can't fault this place, service is always quick and friendly, food is always cooked fresh, and no other burger can beat the half-pounder with cheese! Nice to finally eat out again, they've done a great job with the new design to ensure customers safety, might not be as colourful as it was, but it looks clean and modern. Great job! Read moreVisited the wimpey on Dec 6th... been going to this wimpey for many years. This morning when I got to the door I realised I didn’t have a face mask.. I spoke to a young lady at the door to ask if they had a spare mask... she said no we don’t have a spare mask and you have to wear one walking to the table... which was 5 to 6 yards away..the restaurant was empty, she said I wasn’t allowed in and sent me away. I understand the rules, but sometimes some common sense needs to be applied. Over zealous covid rules being applied by children serving, cost your business...
