I think McDonald's s need to work out what they really want their 'restaurants?' to be.
They are no longer a welcoming relaxing place for eat in 'normal customers' as they used to be.
It almost feels like you're intruding on a place now geared for anyone other than sit down guests.
A large area was cordoned off for staff rest area, a relatively new invention; the pick up service point (presumably created for the ever growing army of delivery drivers with large insulated bags ) made that part of the front of house unnecessarily crammed with 8 -10 of them there.
Only one of the self ordering screens was working. When invited to take a table number tent....there weren't any.
The healthier grilled chicken options have disappeared, cynically I'd suggest wealth over health rules!
The corollary of umpteen ' we ll get your barely warm take away version of what was supposed to be a here and now fresh fast food source to you at some point ' is many of the limited parking spaces are also taken up by their cars and m/cycles.
When the ever popular drive through is busy the waiting cars or order pick up bays just add to the mayhem of the site
So it seems the focus is on drive through and take away delivery variants but not efficiently geared for that.
If they still wish to operate as an eat in family focuses venue then they need to re visit this customer experience, find an answer to the pick up drivers and all that entails, if needed (it never was) set a staff area away from the main customer side, think through their non fried options and make sure the...
Read moreMy recent trip to McDonald's was an exceptional experience, highlighted by the iconic Big Mac, which truly lived up to its legendary status. From the moment I stepped inside, the friendly staff and efficient service set a positive tone for the visit.
When I received my order, the Big Mac looked picture-perfect. The first bite was a revelation—the combination of flavors and textures was perfectly balanced. The two beef patties were juicy and well-seasoned, and the special sauce was the star of the show, providing a tangy and slightly sweet contrast that tied everything together. The crisp lettuce, fresh pickles, and finely chopped onions added a delightful crunch, while the melted cheese brought a creamy richness to every bite.
The sesame seed bun was soft yet sturdy, holding all the ingredients together without becoming soggy. Each bite of the Big Mac was consistently delicious, a testament to the quality and care put into its preparation.
The ambiance of the restaurant, with its clean and welcoming environment, made the meal even more enjoyable. Overall, my trip to McDonald's exceeded expectations, and the Big Mac was a delicious reminder of why it remains a beloved classic. I can't wait for my next visit to savor that perfect combination of...
Read moreTHE WORST MCDONALD'S IN THE WORLD!!!!! DO NOT BOTHER DRIVE TO ANOTHER ONE. This really is the worst McDonalds I have ever been to and I have eaten at McDonalds in Thailand, which I thought was a hard act to follow but this beats then hands down for no1 ranking of the worst. This review is based on few visits to this restaurant. Slow rude miserable staff. Drive thru unorganised. Girl taking payment at the drive thru was on her mobile phone speaking to her friend whilst I sat the drive waiting to pay. When I thought she was talking me and and said pardon she looked at me and said I'm talking to my friend, like I had rudely interrupted her conversation trying to pay for my food. Always having to wait for food in the parking bays. Cold food after waiting 5 mins in the parking bay for just a double cheeseburger and fries!!!!!! Where is the management running this place it just seems to run by kids who dont really want to be there! SORT IT OUT Mr/Mrs manager!!!! I have complained to head office which passed it on to the restaurant. First complaint no reply, 2nd complaint and generic email saying g thanks for your feedback. I now drive further to Southend Airport if I ever want McDonalds. JUST...
