Mevan Turkish Kitchen - Hadleigh — Restaurant in Castle Point

Incredible food found in Hadleigh. Mevan is a truly wonderful restaurant with great service. The portions are huge and with two starter portions and a shared mixed grill we still had a doggy bag to take home.

Sadly the restaurant previously had a bad manager and it's reputation suffered. He's gone and the team now look after you like gold. Our waiter was attentive, communicative and even gave my wife a free Turkish tea when I had my expresso.

Give them another go, they deliver above and beyond. Thanks for a wonderful evening and top class service made special with tremendous food. 5 stars...

We had a lovely meal here on Friday the place was empty so not much atmosphere the food was excellent very fresh and very tasty. I had the lamb kebab it was gorgeous. The only downside of this restaurant is the man that served us smokes heavily and served our food he didn’t look very clean Dirty fingernails and the smell of smoke came into the restaurant. Then he served our drinks and starters if he had washed his hands after smoking, it wouldn’t have been so bad, but the smell of smoke was quite strong inside the restaurant as well shame cause the food was...

Beautiful restaurant, great value delicious fresh food. The waiter could not do more for us. Every request was met and we had a wonderful night celebrating a friend's birthday, who they gave a complementary dessert to and had everyone singing happy birthday to, as well! 😀 New waiter working who was telling us about some great ideas for some bottomless brunches so we will keep an eye out for those and hopefully be back soon...
