I’ve had two weeks in Benfleet and have been to eight different cafes trying to find a good traditional breakfast with an excellent coffee. Tom’s Is the first place that has both. I only drink double espresso so the taste is important the coffee did not disappoint. Food quality was great and the staff were warm and welcoming I will be going here for the remainder of my stay I only wish I had found it earlier. My final day in Benfleet. By a bit of luck having some work on the car done in the area we found this little diner. I am amazed. Despite being in the middle of industrial estate the place is lole oasis. Clean, fresh and welcoming. Friendly staff with "we will make food you want and like" attitude was great to experience. The food was cooked/fried perfectly. Big portions. I had amazing burger and home made fries. Coffee taste like was made is small Italian shop in Rome. And smoothies are to die for. I think we found another spot to drive to for breakfast or lunch.
