Great atmosphere if stopping for drinks only in the evening, but very loud when sitting for a meal. Perhaps the bar and dining hall need to be separated. Cocktails were tasty, but some were very strong (alcohol). Food was alright. I have crispy chilli squid for starter, jerk chicken with spiced fries for main, and cheese cake for pudding. Squid was so good, very crispy with a little chilli heat. Chicken and fries, they were cooked great, and before the heat, had a great flavour. But they had so much spiciness to them! My mouth was on fire, I couldn't finish my meal because of how hot it was. I had to take a guess when ordering how spicy things were as there are no indication on the menu (at least not the christmas party menu), and thinking as I had jerk spice at home I would be ok, but no I was not ok. Thankfully, they beautiful cheesecake cooled my mouth at the end. I would come again, for drinks definitely. But food, I would only come back if I could guarantee I could order my main meal as mildly spice.

We booked Turtle Bay for food and drinks as part of a date night and were served by Luke and Jerin, who are honestly a credit to the restaurant - friendly and attentive, without being intrusive and happy to give drink recommendations We had the black cherry rum which was one of the nicest rums I have has - highly recommend! The food was all 10/10. I had salt fish fritters to start, which were crispy and spicy and honestly my favourite part of the whole meal - I could have eaten another plate! I also had the jerk chicken breast with coconut rice, which I very much enjoyed. My boyfriend said his chicken wings were some of the best wings he has had and, while he isn’t sure he liked the goat curry, this is down to personal preference (the first time he had tried goat and he wasn’t overly keen on the meat) but the sauce, rice and fries were a winner! Over all a lush meal out, with fab service - we will be back soon. Thank you!

We arrived at our booked time of 4:15pm and it was already busy and we had a short wait until someone came to take us to our table. It was obvious it may take a bit of time before our order would be taken but it didn't matter as the atmosphere was great. But we really didn't have to wait to long drinks did take a bit longer but understandable. Our server was Sami who was very helpful and we had no issues at all. The food was great it was well cooked and hot .very tasty. We all enjoyed what we had. We tried 2 4 1 cocktails and our son had some mocktails we also tried some different rums. Overall a great experience, a little expensive for drinks so the offers helped with the final bill.

I absolutely love coming to Turtle Bay with my friends the food is always amazing, the atmosphere is fun and welcoming, and it’s become one of our go-to spots to chill, eat, and play dominoes (which we love that you provide!).

However, I do want to be honest about one part of our experience that’s been consistently disappointing. We’re often served by the same staff member, I believe their name is Jorja, and unfortunately, their attitude towards us hasn’t been the most friendly. We always make a point to be polite and respectful, but they often seem visibly unhappy or impatient with us.

On one visit, we accidentally spilled a drink while playing dominoes and Jorja kindly offered to replace it, which we appreciated. Later on, another drink got knocked over (again, just an accident — we didn’t even ask for a replacement), but they came over and made a comment that it wouldn’t be replaced “because it’s the second time,” even though we had only apologised and tried to clean it up ourselves.

Another time, we chose not to pay the service charge because we didn’t feel the service deserved it — and it seemed to really offend them. I’ve worked in hospitality for years myself, so I completely understand how tough the job can be and always try to be empathetic, but consistent cold or unfriendly service really affects the experience. It just makes us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome when we’ve done nothing wrong.

That being said, I really do love Turtle Bay and will definitely keep coming back — I’d just prefer not to be served by Jorja again. It would be great to feel more warmth and good vibes from every part of the visit, especially in such a great...

First of all, I have to say that the waiter we had (he was called "AB") was absolutely brilliant and couldn't ask for a better person to wait on on us. I hope this feedback gets back to him. We went for a bottomless brunch, he realised straight away that we liked the sweet cocktails and made recommendations and he nailed each one. He also made sure that when we nearly finished one, he was there with another for us. I will say that we were there early afternoon when it was quiet which helped a quicker service so when you go in peak times, this may differ. Food was really nice. Had the beach burger with the smash patties. It did come out with the wrong sauce on the burger but they changed it straight away and came out with a free burger. All in all, very impressed with Turtle Bay but would expect the service to change and not have as many drinks flowing during peak times/days. Price was £40, tad expensive but if you go during the quieter times, you certainly get your...
