Ordered chips, after 20mins decided to head to the bar to check the progress and order another beer. Lewis (self-proclaimed ‘boss’) poured the beer then went and got the chips, I asked why they had taken so long and he shrugged and said ‘it’s busy’ (it wasn’t). I immediately asked for a refund because the chips were cold and had obviously been sat on the side forgotten. Lewis called me rude for inquiring about my food and instead of giving me a refund gave me the beer I had ordered. By the time he had gone to check on my food the head on the beer he had poured had completely disappeared. I asked him to top it up and he did with such displeasure and gave such a meagre top up I asked for a refund on the beer and myself and the 3 people I was with left.

I was shocked at the treatment I received in this establishment. Never in my life have I ever waited over 20mins on chips. The staff (Lewis) are completely unapologetic, childish, and quite frankly, don’t give a toss about you the customer.

Avoid this place until they sort out...

Used to love this place and was excited to stop in after the refit but a fresh lick of paint and new seats doesn’t make up for the massive decline in the service.

A year ago the service couldn’t be faulted, everyone was so friendly and lively, but it seems that with the new look came new staff and it’s honestly not worth the time anymore. Walking down the stairs, we could see all the staff on the bar stood around chatting, and when waiting for service they couldn’t be any less bothered. It took two girls to pour our drinks, both of which were wrong and had to be repoured (only when a third girl came long to help) and this was on a very quiet evening!

I don’t think I’d trust coming here on a busy weekend, and would probably choose to order the food on an app and enjoy it the comfort of my own home than in the stale vibe this place now holds

An absolutely shame as this was a belter of a night out and a real stand out club in Cardiff, now it’s the same as the rest and bland. Time to...

One of my favourite places to go in Cardiff!

Excellent selection of beers - always have Gamma Ray on tap (A personal favourite).

Go during the week and you’ll find a chilled out vibe and people play ping pong.

Football table normally the favourite as one of the cheaper things to do at 50p a go.

Arcade games are a good laugh but £1 a person to go so if you’re rubbish you’ll find yourself spending a small fortune!

Interior is quirky and you’ll most likely be sitting on furniture made out of pallets and old cable reels.

Food is mostly Burgers but these are excellent.

The only thing that lets it down is there never seems to be enough staff on and they can sometimes be preoccupied by their own phones leaving you waiting at an empty bar.
