I used to live right up the road and skated there a few times. It had just been redone with a whole newer extension to the park. The surface is very smooth, it is creative obstacle-wise and allows for a lot of variety according to your type of skating. Easy to do lines and cruise. Also allows for plenty of room for progression so not the type of park that you will easy outgrow. The main downside is the area. On certain days there's an uneasy atmosphere due to the presence of the local drunks and other shady-looking characters. Lots of non-skaters just sitting around the park as a hangout spot. As a parent, I wouldn't leave my teenage kids there alone. It's not necessarily dangerous but there is that risk factor present. Read moreSomething for everyone. Just out for a stroll, it is nice to walk the perimeter next to the trees. Great adventure playground for kids. Saw some teenagers having fun in the skate board park. A more unusual feature was the Park Gym, it has seen better days, but most of it is still useable and I think it is a great way to encourage exercise when gyms are so expensive.
