I arranged for a large group to eat Saturday lunch at The Midland. The booking process was carried out by phone and I was able to sort out allergies and intolerances with ease. When we arrived the table was ready and out of the way of the bar, which was helpful considering the City match was on the TV. I wanted somewhere local to celebrate my Birthday with a few friends without having to drive and this venue had recently re-opened after a re-vamp. I used to use it regular a few years ago but it deteriorated and I stopped going. However I decided to give it a try. Boy! I was not disappointed. Came for the first time today. Traveled from Nottingham for a family birthday party. The pub is a fantastic offering to its surrounding community and the food offering is brilliant. Portion size and pricing is brilliant. Service today was by two you girls ( Sunday ) and they were fantastic throughout our visit. Defiantly a place to visit on a cold, dark and very wet Sunday
