B ten Balti — Restaurant in Cheltenham

Hi Mr MoPegga, I'm part of the B-ten team and deeply saddened by this review, firstly I would like to apologise for your experience at B-ten. This is not acceptable from our team as we've served the community for more than 33years and our menu has an extensive range of curries (over 30 dishes) from mild to spicy which accommodates many different pallets. We would appreciate you to visit us again and speak to one of the members of our team and hopefully this time your experience would be much better.

Very bright lighting....and rather pink! Not exactly 'intimate'. Reasonable value and can take own drinks, which is good. Vegeta le dishes were very good and poppadums excellent....did not have to pay for all the (very good) accompaniments. However, curries weren't very good....I had a Thali and only liked 1 out of 3. Not even sure what they were but very sweet..not to my taste at all. Wife's Dansak also very sweet and undistinguished. Might go again as cheap but would try tandoori mixed grill;...

I’ve had the worst case of the flu, my nose is so blocked I didn’t think I would be able to taste anything… so as a fan of a very spicy curry I requested that they make the Vindaloo as spicy as possible! And wow did they rise to the challenge. What arrived was a delicious bowl of fire with cooked chillis floating around.
