Amazing find on Suffolk Road, next to Bhoomi, a French bistro with affordable glorious food. We had a Vichyssoise soup and a delightful crab and avocado mousse for starters, with two lots of superb crusty bread and a healthy helping of whipped butter. The chicken which followed was so tender and the fish of the day, which my husband had (hake) was cooked to perfection. To finish we tried the crème brûlée and the lemon tart, both exemplary. We didn’t mean to have pudding but were enjoying the whole thing so much that it seemed a shame not to. Three Cotswold gins, a glass of Picpoul de Pinet and two coffees later, we pronounced ourselves well happy. I would strongly recommend this restaurant. We did have a bit of a quarrel with regards to the bill. The email stated 50% off all food. So we decided to try and caviar.
