This store has no idea how to make an order. My partner can't eat dairy, so being able to pick everything that goes into the sandwich and seeing it happen is wonderful. Well until we went to this store.
Our first visit was in store, where upon ordering it took 5 minutes just to get across that we wanted the vegan cheese option instead of the normal mozzarella. Fine, we got there in the end. Then we ordered some nachos. We asked politely if the mozzarella could be swapped for the vegan cheese, again it took 4 or 5 repetitions of asking before the staff member understood what we asked and said no problem. We watched and the staff member just put the mozzarella on it. So we had to refuse it and was greeted with confusion at why we weren't going to accept it. It's not like you just ignored what we said was it? They eventually gave us some nachos with the vegan cheese but at this point there was a huge queue and it just felt embarrassing to be stood there holding everyone up.
Our second order came online through Deliveroo. We thought we'd give them another chance as perhaps the wearing of masks and how busy it was could of affected our visit. WRONG. This was even worse. My partner ordered the Meatball Marinara, pretty standard with just a small amount of veggies, no extra sauce but crucially she ordered it with the vegan cheese. I ordered all meats on the Italian herb and cheese bread. What we got was totally opposite. The Meatballs were on the Italian herb and cheese and had mozzarella cheese with a completely random selection of veggies with mayo. And the all the meats had mozzarella cheese and my partners choice of bread and small veggies. Like how can you mess this up so badly... Its not like were having to say our order to you through a mask and a busy store, its literally written down... Thankfully we always double check the food but she obviously wasn't able to eat either of the sandwiches. Are they preparing sandwiches blindfolded now? Deliveroo were fantastic though and gave us credit to get another meal from somewhere else but can't say I'm going back to Subway anytime soon. It shouldn't...
Read moreIf I could give 0 stars I most definitely would, the service i recieved was the worst I have ever recieved in all my years, I would of walked out as the people before me did to go elsewhere stating so very loudly and unimpressed as they were refused counter service even though the self service was unresponsive they were told to wait for it to start working very abruptly, If my daughter had not already purchased, The double cheese was missing and barely any sauce was in the sandwich when I took the sandwich back the female server glared, rolled her eyes at me and said there is cheese in it you ordered a Subway" when I said i ordered double cheese the man looked in my sandwich again agreed and she refused to add the extra cheese I had paid for, I wont ever return to this store and have visited a few times during the day and have normally been greeted with a smile from the manager who is pleasant. Real shame for him that his staff cannot be trusted to represent him alone. I will be putting in a formal complaint regarding the member of staffs tattoos on the forearm on show, im all for each to their own but not in the workplace...
Read morewent in for lunch and honestly never been so disappointed in my life. first of all the screens were not working and i was told i was unable to order at the till (unsure of why). after managing to order after ten minutes of trying i received my food which was very poor, i paid for double cheese and received none, after asking for some cheese the staff were rude and very unprofessional. definitely not returning, the customer areas were messy and dirty which food on tables, bins overflowing, and rubbish on the floor. i don’t know who is running this place but maybe they should have a look at their staff and the type of people they’re hiring especially when they’re disgustingly unprofessional around customers such as myself and others within the store.
