The Dug Out Cafe with King Shots Coffee — Restaurant in Cheltenham

We are so thrilled that the DugOut exists! We’ve spent many a day down at the Burrows and now there is a fantastic café to visit when we fancy a treat!

Locally roasted Fire and Flow coffee, Wholly Gelato icecream, Hayles Farm fruit juices and Tubby Toms bacon dusted tater-tots are all family favourites! The focus on local producers is a huge selling point and definitely does not go unnoticed! Who wouldn’t rather pay a little more for something locally made?

Plus there is a bring your own cup discount!

The staff are really friendly and helpful and they put on great events for families throughout the year too!

The outside seating area is a great addition to the park and makes chilly trips to the playground much more pleasant. Plus if the weather really turns there are a whole host of toys inside to keep the kids occupied!

This independent coffee shop is a hidden gem. It serves coffee of a quality you'd expect in some of the best independent coffee shops.

The first time I visited this place I was very surprised - you don't usually expect this quality at a coffee shop in this kind of location! I can only highly recommend it. Particularly great if you have kids or dogs... Given there's parking and a huge playing field and well equipped playground right outside, you can stop and get your caffeine fix whilst your dog or kids run off some steam.

Also serves a good range of light snacks (sweet and savoury) and ice cream, too - even dog friendly ones!

What a fabulous cafe, absolutely amazing high class coffee, and the lovely owner made me a lovely keto lunch especially for me as I’m diabetic as he completely understood. The prices and quality is outstanding, beautiful park for walking and playground for children. Lots of choices for children to eat and drink. If you have not been you’re missing out.
