Treats 4 U — Restaurant in Cheltenham

This was my third time ordering from this shop, which was recommended by a friend. The chicken is usually very good, which is why I returned.

I recently ordered a Wing Platter and Half Chicken Selection, which included 2 sides, and a 1.5L drink, for collection. Since I was busy, I asked my wife and younger son to collect the food on my behalf.

To my surprise, they were given two small cans of drink instead of the 1.5L bottle, and plain fries instead of the peri-peri fries and wedges I clearly ordered by phone.

The next day, I called the shop to ask what happened. I was told that the 1.5L drink was no longer offered, even though it still appears on the online menu, and they had replaced it with two cans instead. I also asked about the sides, and they claimed that my son chose plain fries when they asked.

This is simply not true. My son, who is 17 years old, was only asked about drinks, and he requested one Pepsi and one 7Up. He never was asked the sides. He loves peri-peri fries, so it makes no sense that he would ask for two portions of plain fries.

I understand that mistakes happen, especially during busy times. However, instead of offering a simple apology, the staff made excuses and gave false explanations, which I found disappointing and unprofessional.

Unfortunately, I won’t be ordering again, as there are other places in Cheltenham that offer peri-peri chicken with better...

I ordered the Hawaiian 12oz burger with peri peri fries and mozzarella sticks and all of them were amazingly cooked, the burger was really juicy and didn't have too much lettuce, I also had the triple chocolate freak shake and that was divine. Shame about the deliveroo driver trying to ruin your evening, but since that's not to do with you I haven't altered my score in any way, wouldn't be fair.

The staff were really friendly and helpful too, which was lovely, I can't wait to...

We are new the area and had an Airbnb nearby to Treats 4 U, which prompted us to try it out. We were pleasantly surprised at 1) how good and tender the peri peri chicken is and 2) the hot spice! We frequented it daily for a while when living nearby. Honestly, I enjoyed the peri peri chicken more than Nandos! It’s a great place for decent food and even the fast food or sweet...
