Honest review!

I went to Jenny's cafe recently for a little lunch. My advise to anyone that goes here please alway's total up your food order yourself before you go and pay because they may do a crafty and try to charge you extra which is excactly what happened to me!

I did think when I went up to pay that they had over charged me and I even said that it seemed more expensive than I thought and did not think it was going to be that much...They just told me aload of BS excuse's! I started looking at the same menu what I looked at the cafe on there online page and saw that they had over charged me two to three pound more!!! On top of that the portion of chip's what I received was ridiculous small! 😅 Would not recommend would not go again! RESPONSE BACK TO THE CHILDISH OWNER--- Urmm it is possible because you over charged me you bellend 🤣 I did question it when I went up to pay and you told me the price was way higher than what it was on the menu... Then charged me extra for the can of coke... Also trust mate I can afford it 👌🤣 Just don't like when a greasy cafe will try to scam me for more money you must be desperate for more money especially minimum wage working like over 60 hour's aweek with your clothe's stinking of cooked food. Absolutely lovely place with friendly staff, high quality delicious food and a broad menu. I had the traditional breakfast with extra hashbrowns and a latte and every mouthful was perfect. It was all at a very reasonable price. We stayed for perhaps another hour and had a smoothie too, which was well balanced in flavour and tasted as though it had been freshly made with real fruit.

I've taken off a star because the decor felt somewhat clinical or cold. It wasn't unpleasant, not at all, but the chairs were the type you might get at a posh community centre. We visited this place today on the basis they were signed up to the eat out to help out scheme which we checked online plus they had a sign up saying so. After ordering 2 teas, 3 milkshakes and coming to pay we were told they are not doing it on drinks. Thinking maybe there was a rule for this we paid and went away. Checking online and found nothing that indicates this rule, your either signed up to the scheme or not thus they should be allowing it on everything exc booze or takeaway. Went back to them to give them the chance to resolve it, i told him they can claim it but the guy just shrugged his shoulders at us. Will not visit this...
