Food was banging and large portions, outside space was amazing, and a little play area for the kids too! We didn't go inside apart from to order and use the toilet but there was a pool table inside too (inside was a tad on the small side, so had there not been outdoor seating it would have been VERY cramped!). Only thing I would've wished for was an online ordering system so I didn't have to stay outside by myself with the kids when my husband went in to order food and drink. Overall experience was fantastic in the outdoor setting though, will be returning LOTS on our holidays if it stays to this standard! A MUST to visit! I'm actually going to have to book a weekend holiday just to come back for the homemade roast I think! Haha

Me and my husband shared the American burger (added hallumi) and the seafood platter, Brioche bun made me SUPER happy, such a good touch to finish a fantastic burger! All the seafood was incredible! My daughter and her friend had the all day brunch which looked amazing! And my friend had the big daddy burger and shared a different platter with her husband. It all looked amazing! Lots of effort put into the food even though we ordered not 20mins from last orders!...

Had the worst experience tonight visiting this pub . The barmaid denied serving my friend’s daughter who is 23 years old yes she didn’t have any I’D on her but did have photos on her phone of her passport and driving licence. My friend’s daughter willing to go and get her id then left the pub. The barmaid then refused to serve the rest of us age ranging from 40 and above as we had been talking to my friend's daughter earlier even though she was no longer in the pub. We had already bought a couple of rounds previously but she took a dislike to us and made this very clear outsiders are not welcome here. When asked the reason for her not serving us remaining in the pub she told us she was not prepared to break the law. I’m failing to see her point as stated we were all over the age of 40 and our money was good enough 20 mins earlier This barmaid was happy serving young people who certainly didn’t look 18 years old who were throwing up and couldn't stand. I understand establishments have to ask for id however to pick and choose who you ask for id and picking on the only girl that was of colour is...

We booked and ate this evening and am absolutely appalled by the food and the service, took 30 minutes for our drinks and around 45 mins for the food. We ordered 5 meals in total, 2 x surf turf and cluck, the first one the chicken was pink, cold and under cooked , this was returned, the second one (all steak specified on our order as well done) was returned as the steak was rare, having returned it for it to be cooked to well done, it comes back out even rarer than the first one. Now a good pub that cares for its customers would have offered to re cook it, bearing in mind the whole plate is now covered in blood. No I am offered a refund and told if I want it cooked again it will be an hour wait as there are loads of orders now in front, now Whilst this is going on the other steak on the other plate is also rare, and again no offer of re cooking! We have been told a refund will take 3 to 5 days for the meals refunded and 2 people left hungry, if that was my business I would have bent over backwards to give good...
