The Good Breakfast — Restaurant in Chorley

Stopped here at the motorway services, around 09.30 on 15-11-24, food was actually pretty good, but the interactions with the staff serving the food were absolutely abysmal. They told us we had to use takeaway boxes along with disposable knifes & forks. I joined with 3 colleagues bought ultimate breakfasts and the woman could not even remove a fried egg from the hot plate without bursting the yolk everywhere, turning it more into a scrambled egg instead. Then watched as a busload of ppl came in where they were faced with zero staff which had all left at the same time for a break , leaving no one to serve them, that resulted in the majority or the walk-ins going to Starbucks for overpriced coffee's, I hope this is helps anyone wanting a friendly...

Was at that place today around 1pm 21/10/24 waited for 5 mins with nobody at the counter, I could’ve made stuff myself, then someone appeared I asked for a black pudding ‘bap’ to which I was told no we only do sausage or bacon I asked that maybe instead of putting sausage or bacon they just put black pudding instead, not hard really and no real effort required, but answer I got was ‘we’re not allowed’….seriously? Are people going to lose their jobs because they swap an item over absolutely ridiculous customer service and being diabetic I have to get something to eat around the middle of the day so went away shaking my head and told them they were...

Stopped here 13th . Every other place had queues. So went to the Good Breakfast. Ordered a small breakfast and a coffee. Couldn't drink the coffee so left it. Unfortunately ate the breakfast. Not nice but I was hungry. My journey then to the far north of Scotland was horrendous. Can't say exactly when I started to be ill but, not long after eating stomach pains set in, then the vomiting started. I had been gine and well up to this point. Had driven up from the Midlands totally fit and well. That was no more after eating here. I will avoid details but, anyone who has suffered with food poisoning...
