Cute, colourful place with happy vibes. Went here to meet friends for a birthday late lunch/early dinner and was pleasantly surprised! I ordered a beef barbacoa taco which was tasty with a drizzle of hot sauce and garlic mayo dip on the side was ace👌✨🤤 The default is soft tacos so if you want hard, be sure to request the corn taco!
I also shared some 'loader' fries with my wee one and they were able to put the shredded and melted cheese on the side (wee one is dairy intolerant) so that was helpful. Plus, they were able to provide a dairy-free cheese option for the quesadilla - opted for the black bean one but they also had beef. My wee one only managed to eat 1/4 of it as quite a big portion and he said it was "too hot" but I think it was because it was temperature hot from being freshly made or possibly could be the onions (though I had requested "less onions"), which can be 'spicy' for kids. Plus, he'd probably filled up on fries while waiting for his main. I was quite famished arriving not having eaten lunch (thinking I could eat double the tacos in my order (came with 2) but it was surprisingly filling and came away stuffed and content ☺️
Very affordable too! The owner, Ali was also really friendly and kind and did something special knowing it was my birthday 🥳🎂. I was so surprised and touched by his thoughtfulness and generosity. Will definitely come again and recommend this place! 🤗🏆🌟...
Read moreI've now been to this amazing Mexican restaurant twice and both times it completely blew me away. It’s officially my go-to place in Edinburgh for authentic, delicious Mexican food—whether I'm dining in or getting delivery!
Let’s talk about the beef tacos first—absolutely phenomenal. The meat is perfectly tender, flavorful, and juicy, and the consommé for dipping takes them to the next level. They are honestly addictive—I could eat them every day and never get bored.
I also tried the beef burrito and wow—packed with flavor, generously filled, and wrapped to perfection. It’s hearty, satisfying, and just downright delicious.
And of course, I couldn’t skip dessert: the churros were everything I hoped for—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and served with a warm chocolate dipping sauce that’s the stuff of dreams.
The atmosphere is super welcoming when you eat in, and the delivery is fast and always arrives hot and fresh. You can tell they really care about quality, no matter how you’re enjoying their food.
If you’re in Edinburgh and craving Mexican, look no further—this place is a gem. Can’t wait to go back again...
Read moreWent here for dinner because of the great reviews and pictures looked delicious but the food just wasn’t good. Not sure if they were having an off night but everything was very bland. We had tacos, loaded nachos and quesadillas. The cheese was in greasy lumps at the bottom of the tacos. There was hardly any chicken in the quesadillas. The beef on the nachos was nice but there were only a few pieces. The server was nice but we asked for no onions or guacamole and everything seemed to have extra onion. They were also very large chunks so quite over powering. They did redo the nachos without guacamole though as this was an intolerance so that was good service. I really wanted to love this place but unfortunately it did not hit the mark for us and I wouldn’t return or...
