This is a lovely tranquil woodland walk in Edinburgh. There are so many possible routes to explore. This area is very popular with families, dog walkers etc.You can select easy walking routes and slightly more challenging woodland walks. Read moreFor nature this deserves the 4 stars. However there are now so many dogs that it is hard not to trip over them as they run around doing their own thing. I like dogs but not out of control. The wild flowers are in bloom, the trees sprouting their diaphanous leaves and blossom forming on the hawthorn and other bushes. Water gushing in the burn and birds singing.
