Unreliable Venue for Small Businesses

We provided quiz services at this venue for nearly a year. While payments were late during the first few months, they eventually stopped altogether. Despite setting up payment plans and offering discounts to assist the venue, the owners still failed to pay and stopped communicating without providing any explanation.

Based on our experience, I would strongly advise anyone who runs or knows someone who runs a small business to avoid working with or attending this venue. They have not shown themselves to be reliable or supportive of small businesses.

Update 15/10/24 Understandable anger at this review, however it did prompt a response, whcih is a step in the right direction. The communcation was payment would be made "shortly". What shortly means is unconfirmed but at the moment more...

Popped in last minute to watch the rugby with a large party. Staff were extremely accommodating with the large group of us and made a suggestion and moved us accordingly so that we would all have the best view! A very quiet place with not much atmosphere for a big game but didn’t phase us as we had each other and allowed us to talk freely and the commentary to be heard by all, unlike other places you’d watch the game. Due to how quiet it was, drinks were very easy to order with quick and polite service. As Guinness drinkers we were happy with the quality of the pints although they ran out of Guinness 0 very quickly for the drivers :( Food was also ready very quickly after ordering, it was all presentable and tasty - we largely ordered wings and chips. My friend and I came to this place around 11:50 for breakfast and we both ordered pancakes with bacons and maple syrup. Although we were the second customers today and the whole place was empty, we received our pancakes around 12:45, which was quite late since all we ordered was four pieces of pancakes. By the time our pancakes came, our teas were cold so we could not enjoy the food that I would describe as decent.
