Tempting Tattie — Restaurant in City of Edinburgh

We didn’t scoured our wish lamp for long until we saw this cute Scottish potato dude in kilt. It’s a sign from heaven. My intuition loved sweet cute potato cartoon and off course, I had to (you don’t have to anything but) you have to try this Edinburgh secret of the best lovely delicious baked potatoes ever. No! I don’t brag much, I just followed my intuition. It’s wise beyond years. It told me to try it out. So, me and my friend and I, went twice to this place. 😆 And we ate Chili’ Gon Crazy, Batata Salata, one with turkey bacon and one without. We went second time for our last potato feast. The portion so big you could eat for two in one potato. It’s soo big. Good for pregnant who eats for two or a very food lover who loves to eat for two. It’s the biggest potato portion I’ve seen in Edinburgh and I only ate here. 😆🫢😆 I am so glad we tried this place out. We had to bring leftovers and it taste good the same day couple of hours later. I do not recommend to heat it in the microwave if it has salat or coleslaw in it. I did it the first time and I got very sad because it was not crispy salat anymore. Yeah, we basically told everyone we came across about this potato paradise. Look at the menu. We would be eating potato every day if we could. Everyone is walking out here smiling, potato-filled stomach and happy to be a potato in the couch at home. We sad we leave. Just want to say how picky eaters we are and I have been eating a lot of gourmet food. If you look for great cheap and a lot of food in one potato. Look no more. I had leftovers for later. Thank you for being so lovely serving...

Tempting Tattie is classic tattie shop with a twist. The location is spot on picking up a tattie and then going for a nice walk in the city centre to burn it off.

The menu options are vast with multiple different toppings from salad, sauces, chicken, tuna and chilli.

We got the dirty Diana which included Mac and cheese and crispy onions and chilli. This was a recommendation from the owner and all I can say is he hit the nail on the head.

Along with Carlitos way a cold spicy chicken topping potato which we got heated and was also a treat.

All in all even if you are not a tattie lover you’lllove these Tempting Tattie is a classic tattie shop with a twist. The location is spot-on for picking up a tattie and then going for a nice walk in the city centre to burn it off.

WHAT A PLACE BTW!!! Had some shopping to do in Edinburgh and stopped by with all the hype, and had to try it out myself after hearing about how good it is! Went in was recognised and welcomed straight away. So got my self a DirtyDiana, let me tell you wow!! The combo between chili chicken con carne with mac&cheese finished with crisp onions, WOW! Each bite even the skin was getting demolished. Full of flavour, portion sizes was perfect to full 1 person, I would have had another if I had to 😬. The staff was spot on and gave me a few recommendations so many more to try in future. Boss man was Sameed, bless him regardless of it being busy was a top man and having a laugh with customers. Couldn’t recommend this place more will be in more for sure 10/10...
