Tesco Cafe — Restaurant in City of Edinburgh

I just left the Tesco café at the super store at Hermiston gait Edinburgh (15 Feb 2024, 15:00). We were served by a really nice and a hardworking elderly man with beard and a HORRIBLE Scottish short 40-50 years old woman with short pony tail hair working with him. She is so rude and has no manners toward customers. Seeing a Tesco manager approaching for a random cup of tea she changed her horrible attitude to a fake smile from one ear to another. However her attitude toward customers is awful! Grumpy faces and so rude answers, super unwelcoming behaviour. You ask her something and the reply is “It’s written there”. Tesco remove this abrupt female with bad manners with someone pleasant and nice! I keep an eye until...

Just asked for a plain ham panini for my 9 year old son. We have been coming here for around 2 years and this has never been a problem. I was then quite abruptly told that they only do ham AND cheese panini's as they come pre-wrapped. I explained this has never been an issue in the past and I just got a very rude explanation that this is not the case (or words to that effect.) I then asked "what if I've requested no cheese due to dietary requirements?" and the worker basically said well they can't get a panini then. Very disappointed. Is the cafe under new management? Well what can i say! I placed 2 breakfast orders and an order for a flat white coffee,the coffee arrived first which i had to take back as it was cold,then the 2 breakfasts arrived and i was shocked at how badly it was cooked,the bacon was still practically raw,1 sausage was older than the other as it was cold and wrinkly,eggs were extremely overcooked on 1 side,potato scone was barely cooked, the only item that was cooked properly was hash browns, 1 of the worst breakfasts I’ve...
