I had eaten here on my own and had a fairly decent experience so I returned. The second time the carbonara was not prepared properly and the sauce broke almost immediately. I was also not attended to after I got my food and waited an inordinate amount of time before being able to order dessert and get the check. I decided to come back with my mom; this was a decision that was ultimately very much regretted. The restaurant was busy and we offered to sit outside if it helped them out, but they eventually sat us inside. Our food was ok, not great, and I asked for a takeout box and the dessert menu. When the waiter came back for my dessert order, he said he needed the table back in 15 minutes. Considering I was about to spend a lot more money on dessert and had just spent a lot on food, and we had been there less than an hour, and I was the one who sped our meal along asking for a takeout box, we were very offended and taken aback. Don’t eat here if you want to be treated with respect while spending your money, especially as a known returning customer. Update from their reply: Worst service ever. Their response to my review is COMPLETELY incorrect. We were not deciding to stay or leave AND offered to sit outside. They took us to an inside table. They did NOT inform us we had a limited amount of the time. The dessert menu was at the table for a long time because with their poor service, they did not bother to come back and attend to us. The take away box debacle never happened. No one was clearing our foods or bringing us anything, so I eventually asked for a takeaway box and a dessert menu, then being told I only had ten minutes to order and eat dessert. I was ordering dessert and NEVER said I needed more time; I opted not to order it when they told me I’d only have ten minutes because why would I spend more money at a place that is treating me this way? I’ve never been treated so abominably at a restaurant in my life. Food was substandard and service was the worst I’ve ever had. Don’t come here if you value being treated well while spending your hard-earned money. I am even angrier that they refuse to acknowledge their poor service and are gaslighting me about things that did not happen that way at all. And we DID inform our server how disgusted we were when...

Not a great meal here, let down by poor food and substandard service. Worth noting there are two Italian restaurants in this building. 1 at the bottom (called Divino) and this one at the top and middle floors called Vittoria. We went in at the bottom entrance following the signs to head up stairs to get to Vittoria. We were met by rude staff saying we need to check in upstairs first. We didn't know this as just followed the signage. A suggestion to management for better signage explaining what to do. Once we got to reception and checked in we were shown to our table. The waitress asked to take our coats, we politely declined and she then proceeded to try and convince us that it was better she takes them. Note that the 3 tables around us all had their coats on the back of their chairs so we were left confused why she was trying to convince us to give ours in. Again we declined. We then ordered some drinks (gin and tonic and white wine) and food (arancini, and prawns to start, 4 seasons pizza and lasagne for main). The wine is over priced for the quality of the wine. The prawns were delicious and a generous portion of 6 large king prawns. Really succulent and full of flavour. The accompanying sauce was incredible. The arancini was bland. It had hardly any filling and the accompanying sauce overpowered the arancini. The pizza wasn't great. Cheap ingredients e.g. cheap packet ham, no flavour mozzarella, hard flavourless olives, tomato sauce tasted like it was just tomato concentrate out of a tube. The dough lacked any flavour and was a bit gritty. The lasagne was super high in acidity, so much so that all other flavours in the ragu were lost. It had lots of sauce but hardly any bechamel to balance, and hardly any layers to the dish. All the way through the meal the waitress seemed off with us. We assumed because we came in the bottom entrance and didn't give her our coats. We paid just under £117 which we felt was way overpriced for the food and service we got, hence the low rating. If you do go, here, get the prawn starter, it...

Bad food, terrible service.

Been to Italy before, the food here tastes nothing like authentic Italian cuisine. We ordered two pastas, one with bolognese and one with seafood. The mussels in seafood actually smelled bad. Also, parts of my dish were hot while other parts were cold, which was just strange and unappetizing.

The service was even worse. We both had big backpacks, so we borrowed a spare chair from the next table to put them on. After asking us twice if we were ready to order in 5 minutes and getting the same answer—no—the waitress started getting obviously impatient and roll her eyes. For some reason, she decided to take away the chair with our bags on it, even though there were plenty of spare chairs around. I asked if they had a basket for our bags, but she didn’t even reply—she just left our bags on the floor.

After the meal, she gave us the drinks menus again even after we specifically told her we don’t need any drinks or dessert. It felt really annoying and demanding as if we have to order something that we didn’t need.

When it came time to pay, given our experience here, we politely asked her to remove the discretionary service charge. We didn’t want to upset her so we said we are students(and we are) and would appreciate it if she can remove this optional charge for us. Her face instantly changed, and she said, “So you don’t want to pay?” in a really rude tone.

Overall, the food was bad and the service was rude. Definitely wouldn’t...
