Restaurant Review: Bee's Indian Cuisine
During a recent visit to Bee's Indian Cuisine, I had the pleasure of trying their Chicken Biryani and Tandoori Chicken, two dishes that are often touted as the stars of the menu.
Chicken Biryani: The Chicken Biryani at Bee's is an aromatic and flavorful dish that truly stands out. The rice was fluffy and perfectly seasoned, with each grain infused with the essence of traditional spices. The chicken was tender and juicy, blending seamlessly with the rice to create a harmonious mix of flavors. The spices were well-balanced, providing a gentle heat that didn't overpower the dish. The portion size was more than generous, and the accompanying raita added a refreshing contrast to the richness of the biryani.
Tandoori Chicken: Bee's Tandoori Chicken is a must-try for any lover of Indian cuisine. The chicken arrived sizzling hot, with a charred exterior that was beautifully seasoned. The marinade had deeply penetrated the meat, ensuring that every bite was bursting with flavor. The smokiness from the tandoor oven was evident, adding an authentic touch to the dish. The chicken was incredibly moist and tender, far from the dryness that can sometimes plague tandoori dishes. Served with a crisp salad and tangy mint chutney, it was a perfect balance of flavors.
Ambiance and Service: The restaurant itself has a cozy and welcoming ambiance, with simple yet tasteful decor that reflects the spirit of Indian culture. The service was prompt and courteous, with the staff being attentive without being overbearing. The food arrived in a timely manner, hot and fresh, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.
Overall Experience: Bee's Indian Cuisine delivers on all fronts with their Chicken Biryani and Tandoori Chicken. The dishes are crafted with care, offering an authentic taste of India that is both satisfying and memorable. Whether you're a fan of Indian food or new to the cuisine, Bee's is definitely...
Read moreWe decided to give this restaurant a try as our previously chosen Indian was closed for refurbishment and we were not disappointed. The food was incredible. The mixed starter was succulent and flavourful and cooked perfectly. We opted for the tandoori mixed grill, lamb madras and a dish that I hadn't heard of before which was the gosht kata masala, mushroom rice, saag aloo and a keema nan. Well where to begin... The portion size was pleasing with plenty to share. The tandoori mixed grill was full of flavours and cooked perfectly even had a huge king prawn and lot's of mouth watering onion and crisp salad. The saag aloo I must say was the best that I have ever experienced. The mushroom rice was as pleasing to the eye as it was on the taste bud's. The madras was beautifully cooked with melt in the mouth lamb and thick sauce although not quite spicy enough for my taste but next time I'm sure that I could request it to be a little hotter. The keema nan was as expected freshly cooked and tasty but now for the Gosht kata masala oh my god I haven't ever had an Indian dish before that has made me write such a detailed review. This dish is a must, it wasn't too hot it had plenty chunks of lamb and thick sauce that had flavours that I can only describe as WOW words couldn't do this dish justice. I would rate this food experience as a 10/10. If you like a good Indian restaurant and haven't yet discovered this one then do yourself a huge favour and...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I decided to try this Indian restaurant for lunch. We were met with polite greetings by the restaurant owner. He sat us down and talked through a little of the menu. After looking through the menu I was originally going to have a chicken vindaloo curry but the owner persuaded me to try the ‘chicken tikka naga’ as it has the same spice as the vindaloo, but more flavour. This was off the bees specialties menu. (Warning it is very hot but AMAZING)! The ‘chicken tikka naga’ is very spicy but has many many flavours and the sauce was not too runny which made it perfect for mixing with the rice and dipping the garlic naan in. He also recommended the special green chicken curry to my boyfriend, which I must say was one of the best decisions we agreed to. This curry is a curry with spices and made with a lot of coriander and has a nice kick to it. It was phenomenal and I, as a Bengali myself, was highly satisfied. The Bombay aloo was bursting of flavours. The garlic naan was fluffy and awesome. The owner then presented us with free desserts- they were Gulab jamun in a semolina pudding. These were really nice and sweet and tasted wonderful. I highly recommend this restaurant and the staff here are...
