Recently stumbled upon this decent cafe while enjoying a leisurely stroll in Castle Park. On a scorching day, we opted for some icy delights. The Mr Whippys at £2.90 was lovely, and the Kelly's 2-scoops in a delightful waffle cone for £4 hit the spot. The Rum & Raisin flavour from Kelly's was a standout, and the Mr Whippy's creamy goodness was truly indulgent. The service, while not overly enthusiastic, was friendly and efficient. Very unfriendly.

I'd bought a take out cup of coffee and approximately 15-20 minutes later decided to come and eat at the cafe.

I was confronted by a very rude female staff member who refused to let me and my 4 year old foster child sit inside with my "take out" coffee cup even though I wanted to order food from them. She did not provide a friendly solution and treated me as if I was trying to con them out of 20p or however much the difference between a dine in and take out coffee...

Called in this morning after walking in the park , the food was awful both myself and husband ordered scrambled egg on toast after being told no fried food due to fryer being cleaned , it came out it wasn’t edible it was sloppy and looked grey , took it to the counter to speak with the cafe assistant got told what can be wrong with it ?
