Waite & Rose Café — Restaurant in Colchester

For a store like Waitrose breakfast was very disappointing. Apparently there were no sausages available for a Roll. In a supermarket, really😱 so we chose scrambled egg on brown toast. It arrived DIY style with over cooked eggs on the cheapest of thin brown toast. No butter on the toast, just cold prepackaged Pats to put on yourself. Meaning you have to tip the eggs off onto the cold plate then try to spread cold butter. Overall “Could definitely do better and would not bother again” To contrast that, the young lady serving on the counter was lovely polite...
