I'm sorry to say that whilst there was a good effort with the atmosphere of the cafe, we were not impressed at all with the food. Just the look of the insides of my husband's sandwich turned my stomach (it was the bacon, brie and cranberry sauce one) and completed put me off my fish finger sandwich, which was not very substantial and came with a poor excuse for a salad. We saw this tea room menu at the accomadation we were staying at. Wanted to go straight away but it was closed. Noted opening hours 11-4pm Mon, Tues closed weds and Thurs. Longer hours at the weekend. It was too late on Monday to visit. We then returned on Tues at 1:30pm to visit. Again it was closed!! I visited while on a coach trip and unfortunately had quite a disappointing experience. We were invited in by a gentleman who appeared to be working there, but he had a very strong smell of alcohol and cigarettes, which was off-putting from the start.
