In a nutshell, Spanish Tapas in the centre of Tetbury If you think you have seen a small table in the world for 2 people, then you need visit Lola & Co, probably one of the smallest cutest tables in the world sits on your right as you walk through the front door 😌 Cosy interior with thoughtful lighting, playful lamp shades, and the decor will visually entertain you all night long Can’t believe have many tables are in there, and I’m sure some people might think it’s like ‘night out in a telephone box’ Excellent staff, good food, small tapas portions. 3 plates each should suffice, try not to duplicate what your dining partner has ordered as it’s nice to try a selection of dishes Mahou (red label) beer available and a nice selection of wines Good fun place to visit, book early if you want to eat on the weekend On street parking and other car parks close by Toilet door does have a lock ! (It’s on the TOP right hand side) Lola Shop / Deli next door which will melt your bank card After finishing your meal take a stroll down the road to the Royal Oak Pub to work off the calories

Two remarkable restaurants. One unforgettable return to Tetbury. It was a real pleasure to be back at Lola and Co after some time away. The warmth, the welcome, the cooking: all as brilliant as ever. Spanish food with real depth and confidence. No flash, no fuss, just beautifully executed dishes that stay with you long after the last bite. Pepe and Cuca continue to run it with effortless charm, as if you’ve been invited into their home. There is a kind of magic in the air that is hard to put your finger on but impossible to forget. This time we also made time for KOKO, and it was every bit as exceptional. Spanish-Asian flavours handled with precision and restraint. Flawless cooking. A drinks list to linger over, with sharp cocktails, rare Japanese whiskies, and cigars for those who appreciate the finer details. Where Lola and Co is all heart and soul, KOKO brings a cool, composed elegance. Different in character but equal in quality. Together they represent something rare. Two restaurants, side by side, each quietly world-class in their own way.

Lola & Co in Tetbury hits the mark. The Croquetas de boletus (mushroom croquettes) , Ensalada de Burrata, Pulpo a la plancha (octopus), and the Xuixo (deep-fried viennoiserie pastry filled with cream) for dessert are exceptional, each a must-try. However, the experience starts on a less impressive note with the aceitunas gazpachas (olives), which, disappointingly, taste like they've been plucked straight from a supermarket shelf. During my visit, the restaurant struggled with understaffing, leading to a chaotic atmosphere and a 15-minute wait without a card machine – a slight damper on the otherwise cozy and rustic setting, perfect for small groups or a date night. It's not quite suited for larger parties, though. Despite these hiccups, it's clear why Lola & Co is a buzz during peak hours and likely one of the best dining spots in town. The standout quality of the dishes more than makes up for the service issues. I'm already looking forward to my next visit, confident that it will be just as memorable.
