My hubby and I have just had one of the best ‘The Works’ breakfasts in Sakura this morning. It was perfectly cooked and a good size to set us up nicely for the day. The staff were all very friendly and efficient, looking after customers, serving the food and drinks and keeping the tables spotless. The interior is magical, so beautifully decorated and the outside seating is very comfortable, cosy and dog friendly
perfect! The bathroom was clean and had everything you need inside. I would not hesitate in recommending this lovely charming bistro đŸ„° Looking to coming again next trip to Moreton

Came here for lunch after exploring the town a bit. The two ladies working on the outside tables offered exceptional service. I ordered a blood orange gin & lemonade and it came out to me so fast! I ordered the beef burger which came with a side of rosemary salted hot chips. These were one of the best hot chips I have had, crunchy, golden, just so yum. The burger was good but not amazing. It had a slightly overpowering flavour but couldn’t pin point it. Otherwise this place is really amazing!

Dropped in here this morning for a breakfast with friends to round off our weekend away. Was in a beautiful little spot just tucked away off the high street and had a lovely courtyard area. There were 8 of us in total (3 adults and 5 children) and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming to us all. There was plenty of brunch choices and a delicious array of hot and cold drinks. As a vegetarian I would highly recommend the veggie burrito (although I had mine minus the avocado).

The restaurant has a very nice outdoor seating area. We sat at a table and expected a server to stop and give us menus. After about 15 mins of the server wandering past us I had to go into the restaurant and interrupt 3 servers having a chat. I asked for menus and eventually they found 2. Back at the table again and again we waited. Finally a server came by and took our order. At this point there were 3 servers and a total of 4 tables. The food was ok nothing fantastic. While we were eating another couple came in and waited. At this point there were still 3 servers and 2 tables including us. Finally after at least 20 minutes a regular customer that had been there earlier came by and asked if the couple had been served. He then went in and got a server to come out with menus and eventually take their order. After we got our meal we never saw our server again. We again had to go into and interrupt the staff visiting to get a bill and pay. I feel for the owner as the staff will kill...

We went on a Sunday and there was a lot of space but really there don't seem to be a lot of people eating in Moreton on a Sunday for some reason.

We ordered Bao buns, beef burger and falafels with a shake and a smoothie with 2 coffees

The shake and smoothie were amongst the best I've had to be honest - top marks for these. The coffee was also top tier (although my wife said cappuccino had too much foam)

The food was variable - Bao buns only small (X2) despite costing the same as the burger (ÂŁ15). The burger was huge but both the bun and the burger was overcooked making the whole thing quite brittle and lacking in juiciness. I think for ÂŁ15 I'd expect three Bao buns or two for ÂŁ12?

The falafels were above average and certainly better than others I've had for the same price

Service was fast and friendly.

Overall, the drinks and sweets counter - 5* would come again and recommend. Savouries from the kitchen - overpriced and at least on our visit -...

Staff are nice and friendly but overall not a good experience. The £8 chicken tenders starter was tasty but TINY and covered in unnecessary micro herbs. For mains we both had the braised short rib ragu linguine and unfortunately it was not good at all. Again, lots of unnecessary micro herbs but didn’t taste fresh, have any depth of flavour and wasn’t made from chunks of meat as the name “ragu” would suggest and the pasta was over cooked. We went back about a week later to try the ice cream area (think it’s great they’re open late and still serving ice cream) but the ice cream was rock hard, very icy and not very flavourful. I felt awful for the lovely girl serving us as clearly she’d had no training - mix that with rock hard ice cream and she was on a recipe for disaster. (That’s not to say she wasn’t lovely though)...
