We are staying in the flat upstairs and on arrival popped in for a late lunch snack. So glad we did and will be back for breakfast. The specials board had some enticing options so we had bbq pulled pork and cheese panini and butter chicken with naan bread. Both were so tasty. The chicken was a half way between butter chicken and coronation chicken - soft and tender with a rich mildly spiced but perfectly balanced dry curry. The BBQ pulled pork sticky and sweet with again a rich depth of flavour complemented with the cheese and warm, soft but crispy but not cut your mouth panini bread. Both unexpectedly good - definitely got a good chef behind the scenes. Coffees were also great especially as they make a cortado and staff so friendly.

This place is a little gem, lovely hot food, cakes and tea/coffee! The cafe is always lovely and clean, and has a lovely atmosphere. The staff are always so lovely and make the biggest effort with you and your kids, especially the tall blonde lady who is always so bubbly and happy (can’t remember her name sorry, she has a twin) and she is just a breath of fresh air. Making sure every single customer in the building are ok and making their experience the best it can be! Even when the kitchen staff bring your food out, they are so kind and happy. Must visit Victorias when in Moreton!

Had a wonderful morning here with my sister yesterday. Super friendly and welcoming/chatty staff, a tremendous array of tempting cakes and hot drinks. Our tea cakes were delicious and the atmosphere was really cosy. Exactly how a coffee house should be! (Please take note Huffkins down the road which by comparison was clinical and hugely unwelcoming with its poor customer service, uncomfy looking chairs and inability to accept cash. We walked straight out!) Well done The Victoria Coffee House and thank you! Keep up the good work - it is much appreciated! 👏

Being from the north of England (South Yorkshire) we are used to good value for money, good portions and good quality food. We recently called in for a breakfast on our way home from Bibury.

The staff were friendly and we ordered two full breakfasts and two teas costing nearly £20 (a bit pricey)! The cafe wasn't busy, just one table of 3 before us and a table of 3 afterwards.

We waited and waited and actually thought we had being forgot about. The table of 3 were served and we waited, hoping it would be worth the wait. Eventually, our breakfasts arrived with no apology for our wait. We couldn't believe our eyes! We were extremely disappointed to say the least. The ONE sausage was not much bigger than a chipolata, 3 strips of fat which was supposed to be bacon, a thimble full of baked beans (26 beans on one plate, less on the other) and a miserly portions of mushrooms. Our eggs were on top of a slice of bread which was neither fried nor toasted, so not sure what that idea was. After eating what we could our 'toast' arrived! Well, we say toast, one side had not seen the toaster at all and the other side, had only been shown it. It was inedible. The 3 blokes on the table who had arrived after we did, didn't have a wait as long as ours, but they got offered an apology and a free latte!

Although the reviews show some satisfied customers, we were not. All we can think is that we have higher expectations of service, portions and quality. Our experience left a bitter taste in more...

After a four hour drive we stopped off in Morton in the Marsh and went for a coffee at Victoria's Coffee House. On entering we were met with a look of dismay and were made to feel uncomfortable by the manageress. We asked if they were still open, she advised very abruptly we are closing soon, the kitchen is closed but if we wanted drinks she would serve us. We ordered drinks cake and my husband asked if he could lave the last cornish pasty displayed, and was met curtly again with the response he would have to have it on its own . Hungry he agreed to it being served cold.. However it would have taken only two minutes to pop it on a plate and warm it in a microwave , this was not offered.(It was served on a plate so would not have created any more cleaning for staff by doing this ). Not once during our visit did the manageress smile or make eye contact with us. We both felt very uncomfortable in this venue. Service with a smile and making customers feel welcome no matter what time they visit would not go amiss here. We both felt uncomfortable visiting this coffee house and would not be...

I came into the cafe with my family while we were on a day out, we got some ice cream. The servers were normal and polite. We ordered 4 pots of ice cream, one being advertised as vegan. My son is highly allergic to milk and other dairy product's. We sat down to eat and everything was fine, we checked the ingredients after our 3 year old son started to look ill and saw that the pot contained milk.

I then went up and informed them of the mistake and told them that my son is allergic, they apologies with a false undertone and one of the young male servers was laughing while I was complaining. They said it was an old menu and that was the reason.

I understand that people make mistakes and I am an open minded person who has never left a bad review anywhere however the face that no remorse or a single care was given at the fact my sons now going to be ill for the never few days and his body will be covered in a rash really upset me and my family.

We will be reporting to trading standards for the treatment we received and hope that actions will be taken to avoid these kind of negligence...
