Booked for a night out last weekend.

Driving into the area did make me think twice, it felt like people had abandoned their cars and run for the hills. But, it was more to do with it being a student area with little to no parking.

My recommendation is to either get dropped off or grab a cab.

Anyhow, entering the restaurant was pretty much the deal breaker, if it wasn’t good, I would have rotated back out the door. But wow, like really WOW!

The decor looked amazing, the scent of food cooking with garlic, light background noise and low level lighting, I was looking forward to this.

Greeted nicely, spoken to about table times (2 hour limit) and walked through the bar area to a table in the restaurant.

Female (late teens early twenties) came to our table, took a drinks order and came back with them within minutes. The food order was taken, arrived in good time and was delightful.

Short Rib was amazing - when someone says it fell off the bone, it slid off like a sled on snow. Tasty, tender and probably up there with the best Short Rib I’ve ever had.

All in all the visit was SO worth it. We had driven from Nuneaton so not the closest but a great choice to do so.

Staff did the place proud, if you are the owner reading this, give them a pat...

£80-90 for a meal. Go to Any generic Italian highstreet restaurant. Awful food for the price. Prezzo is just as good and a fraction of the price, not that I like Prezzo! Service was great, staff very friendly. I had the mussels to start which had no meat and the tomato and chilli sauce was tasteless because of the amount of chilli. My wife had Bruchetta which was fine. For mains my wife had the bolognaise which was just minced beef chopped tomatoes and too much Basil! You could male the same for £5 from tesco and this one will set you back £16! I had the lamb shank, I've had better boil in the bag lamb shanks. Pet food is quite frankly of a better quality and taste. One star is also given because the toilet door to the ladies does not shut so you may as well set up your table in the bathroom of you are too close!

guys, you have such a wonderful team of waiters, but what happened yesterday at the celebration of the birthday of our child surprised me and a little disappointed, we ordered an aperitif, ordered wine and main dishes ... and ... to our disappointment, the food was brought after an hour and a half ... no one came up to apologize and report that the order was delayed, but only said that it was allegedly our fault that we did not ask for food (it has been ready for a long time) ... my opinion, you need to work out communication skills and discuss this with visitors ... given that the children were present, they were already impatiently hungry and asked about food .... thank you, of course, the food was delicious, but how it was all decided and after what time left an unpleasant...
