Since new owners have taken over, this pub has seen a huge improvement. The place has a great atmosphere, very friendly staff and most importantly, a great selection of beers. The standard of the food has improved significantly. I would highly recommend coming along on a Sunday for a roast dinner, cannot fault it at all. Also, there is plenty here for children to do. As well as a small outdoor play area, they even have a bouncy castle. For the adults, the pub has TVs everywhere, even outside so ideal for watching any sporting events. The bar staff were attentive; one looked like she'd had enough of the noise, however another bar member seemed to be encouraging the behaviour. Real shame as the food was tasty and cooked well. Manager cited "licencing restrictions for not serving under 18s before 7:30" despite other friend not being refused. Manager also laughed and smugly smiled after we left.
