Barkers Butchers and Deli — Local services in Coventry

The meat is still good quality and reasonably priced. The deli a little sparse. No prices on the jams,honey and cakes. Everything nicely laid out, could do with some greenery for decor even if fake as it looks clinical. I'd rather not be served with blue gloves, especially when the server stands chatting with her hands in her pockets and leaves the gloves on. 3 stars given due to gloves and waiting for the staff to stop talking before noticing I was a the counter. The butcher had to tell them to serve. Hopefully a better experience next time...

Absolutely top-notch butchers! The service is always fantastic—friendly, helpful, and full of smiles. The shop is spotless, and the quality of the produce is second to none. The staff go above and beyond to make sure you leave happy.

Special shoutout to Wayne, whose cheerful singing is… well, let’s just say the meat isn’t the only thing getting butchered in here! But hey, it adds to the charm, and we wouldn’t have it any other way....

Have begun buying meat from from here and it is always excellent. Bought some short back bacon and I can honestly say it is the first time in years i could actually taste the bacon even my children commented on it and no shrinkage. The beef is lovely, going to roast a rolled pork leg today, chopped lamb melts in a slow cooked stew and you have to try his beef and pork marinated stir fry...
