Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Coventry

Overly priced cold, dry and almost cheeseless pizza. Be ready to disappoint yourself. My Horrible experience with Papa John Coventry: I ordered two pizzas one was XXL (£19.99) and medium (£15.99). Due to the offer on medium pizza, i got it for £5.99 instead of 15.99. I paid extra £1.40 for extra cheese on XXL pizza. In total, i gave £30 to the delivery man including the Tip for him. The pizzas were delivered within one hour.

I was so looking forward to the hot, cheesy gooey pizza. My excitement was very short lived.. When i opened the box, my pizzas were almost cheeseless, you could see just the sauce on the bread without cheese... on top of that it was cold and dry.. That's not it, the tomato sauce was probably spoiled as it gave me stomachache half an hour into eating. So, I barely ate 2 slices and put my share in the fridge. Next day, I warmed up the pizza and ate just one slice and had the same horrible experience and stomachache.

I would give it -5 star if it was possible.. I wasted my money and experienced food poisoning on...

Papa Johns always has the freshest ingredients for pizza now theirs is stories of sugar being added to their tomato sauce now me being Italian lots of Italians world wide and professional pizza places in Italy do that to get rid of the bitterness of the tomato sauce and others use wine to do that.

Now as far as rudeness from staff I have never experienced that from papa johns on holy head road or any papa johns in uk all the other pizza places in the Uk lost me as a customer cause they serve negative pizza and customer service is really rude but never any negative experience at Papa Johns.

I stick with papa johns cause its the best in the Uk top quality and the service and the people are professional and courteous This is my number one pizza place that I choose to eat from!!!!!

ordered twice in a week for collection. 1st order made online and the pizza had so less toppings that some of slices were just plain(cheese&tomato).

2nd time tried calling to discuss my order and explain my previous experience politely but no one answered the phone. ordered online again reluctantly thinking of my previous experience and luckily the pizza was much better but cold as it was made too early for my collection time. the staff was not friendly and i ordered an extra special garlic sauce but was forcefully sold 3 as the guy had already put the order through in the system and could not change it "apparently".

i like Papa John's that is why i keep going back but i would request the owner or Papa John's head office to read reviews from people and make some...
