Subway — Restaurant in Coventry

Although you can never usually go wrong with a sub, I feel as though that slightly changes in this branch. Most days in the evening there are 2 ladies working here together, one of these ladies always seems to be in a mood. No matter what time I go there, she's always spoken quite moodily to me, not a smile in sight. It's terrible customer service. And I have noticed that she puts a decent amount less in the sandwiches she makes as well. Less toppings, less sauce, etc. In fact, once i ordered 2 subs, and each lady handled a different sub. The one made by the moody lady was noticeably smaller than the other lady. It's not something you should be getting especially when you're paying almost £9 for a sandwich. These kinds of minor discriminations is what makes me feel like Subway may actually be getting worse. Somebody please re-teach the moody lady about portion size, and friendly customer service. Mega Melt - Ending the day with this mega combination of Beechwood smoked back bacon, British free-range poached eggs, pork sausages, pepperoni and American-style cheese sandwiched between Tiger Bread 🥪. Although this breakfast deal is only available until 11am, I tried my luck and asked the staff if I could still order it at 6.30pm 🤣 To my surprise, he said YES!!

However, it tasted really dry and the ingredients weren’t fresh 😔 I think Malaysia’s subway is 1000x better (or maybe it’s just this outlet that is lousy 🙄)

Pros +During a busy Saturday afternoon, I was served quite quickly, only having to wait a few minutes. +They provided a good amount of napkins 2-3 inside the sandwich bag and were quick to give me a few more after asking. +Temperature of the food was good.
