Greggs — Restaurant in Coventry

Absolutely filthy dirty. Sat down with my (extremely bitter and rancid) coffee with a completely icky sensation in my stomach when I looked around at the state of the tables and floor. Looked like it hadn't been swept in days, and there was a dirty dishcloth just sitting on one of the tables, clearly a half-hearted attempt of someone to clear the mess on the tables. Bonkers! I requested my paper cup not to have a lid as I am not 3-4 years old . The lady gave my hot drink with a lid. So I politely reminded her, no lid. She took the lid off and threw it in the bin. Unbelievable Greggs, that's how much staff are scared or brainwashed to pollute the planet. Now we're no longer in lock down, there should be an option for mugs and cups which are washable instead...

Not the busiest Gregg's I've been to, but can be manic at lunchtime. Great, friendly service and I've never had an issue with the quality of the food served. Seating is limited inside, but there is seating available just outside of the eatery. The only major downside to Gregg's is that there is so much temptation... It's hard listening to your conscience when 'yum-yums' are staring you in...
