Ordered with my partner through just eat. Absolutely the worst customer service I have EVER received.... Firstly the driver left the food outside our place and never contacted us to say it had arrived.... Secondly the beef chow mein was missing ... On contacting the restaurant they instantly made us out to be liars claiming they 100% check every bag sent out... So they claiming either myself or the just eat driver were liars.... And they wiped their hands clean of any responsibility for the missing item saying I had to contact just eat if I had an issue as it wasn't there fault... On trying to contact just eat and finding no phone number to contact the only option I had was to claim a refund which I did and on re calling the restaurant to say can you now send out my missing chow mein they refused saying I had to then re order through just eat!!! And it was my fault for claiming a refund and not saying something was missing.... I did say something was missing but just eat doesn't give the option to speak to anybody it just automatically issues a refund.... Restaurant were completely unhelpful and frankly rude with complete disregard for the fact they had missed an item and have left me without an item for which the whole order came to £71!!!! And even the food that had arrived was completely sub standard and no way near worth the money or certainly the stress and aggregation and fight I had to put up just to request the food I had paid so much money for ... Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever received anywhere in the world and I highly highly recommend to stear clear of this place especially if ordering through just eat as they absolutely do not care if them or just eat have missed an item .... Very very disappointed and will never go anywhere near the place again and will be putting a formal complaint in against the restaurant for refusing to give me what I paid for.......

Absolutely gutted. My partner took me out for dinner on Valentine’s Day and we had high expectations for the food in this restaurant because we love sushi and always wanted to try this local one.

The service was absolutely terrible we sat down and the heater was over our table and when we asked if they could switch the direction or turn the heat down the manager said ā€˜ if they are not happy they should move.’ And then realised that I could hear from the table so he turned it off.

Once our starter arrived at different at times we were sat down for 1hour and 45 minutes still waiting for our main dish. We were the second table in the restaurant that evening the couple that turned up 1 hour after us had already received their starter, main dish and was waiting for their desert and we were still waiting for our main courses to arrive we asked once and got no response the second Time was asked the manager nodded and went out the back for 20 minutes so we decided to leave and they still charged us for the starters which we didn’t get to eat together. The meat was tough and it was very cheap quality food. The restaurant staff were very rude with us no apology and didn’t even give us a discount. We ended up going to the lover Thai restaurant a few doors down with was a million...

This review is for Issa Sushi Crawley. But since this one doesn’t exist on Google, I’m afraid it’s going here.

I’m a home sushi chef myself, and I’m afraid my first experience with my sushi roll was not a great one. Lovely people there in Crawley; had a nice chat with the gentleman there from Thailand, but not happy with my Dragon roll. The roll was totally smothered in sauce. It’s like the restaurant was trying to hide the taste of the sushi roll. A little sauce can definitely contribute to the overall taste, but this over-done and it completely overwhelmed the taste experience. Not a nice experience.

I also had the Sashimi, and I must admit that the salmon, the eel and the sea bass all tasted fresh and the portions were good size.

I do miss the public kitchen; in every sushi place I’ve been around the world, sushi is made before your eyes. Why is that different here?

I will come back to this Crawley branch, mainly because there’s no other sushi restaurant out there. Hopefully my ā€˜easy on the sauce please’ will be taken seriously and I will be able to taste some...

Definitely my new favourite sushi restaurant! We ordered tempura prawns and soft-shelled crab which had light and crispy batter. We also ordered bento boxes which had substantial amount of food. All the sushi were generously enormous and packed tightly and neatly. Facilities are clean, there's disabled toilets and baby changing facilities too. Staff were nice and friendly as well. Price is very good for what we had. Edit: just to add that they don't have high chairs so we had to use the pram. It's not an issue for me at all but I thought I'd mention it to my fellow toddler parents! Still a great sushi place and will come back with my family (and our own child seat 😁)

Slight regret about this place: I was working in Crawley for four days and my first visit was on my last evening. If I'd come here the first night I doubt I would have gone anywhere else. Beautiful, delicate food. Great service. Only had one starter - tuna tataki - and the cashew nut stir fry chicken, but i would have loved to try the rest of the menu. The sushi other people were having looked exceptional. If work ever drags me back down here I will be back.

I'll tell you what. I've always had the Tesco sushi. And I found the vegetarian ones really nice. But I never tried real sushi because of the thought of raw meat. However, this place does the best sushi here. Called the Dragon Roll. It's a fried (tempura) king prawn inside with avocado mayo and Unagi sauce. The sushi was the best experience. The staff are amazing. They have a Thai menu as well, the mains are really good. Best restaurant out in Worthing!
