I agree with most comments regarding slow service, the 2 young girls serving inside were both very rude and really couldn't careless about the customers. I wanted a saver's order that would of been incomplete, with no wings, and that's why it didn't register on their touch screen order boards. I tried ordering something else, but reluctantly had to go to the touch screen, because they seemed understaffed, very slow, the girls were ignoring me and other customers. I don't usually like the touch screen because they can be very confusing and in the process I didn't realise that I'd accidentally ordered diet coke. I did say when I went to pick my order up, doesn't the customer get a choice. I don't like diet drinks and the couldn't careless response was, that's what you ordered. I thought I as going to be asked & given choice when my order was ready to be picked up, would it have been to much to be offered a drink that I liked. There were no sauces available, only ones that cost 50 pence, unless this is new policy now. The woman reluctantly printed another receipt for me later when I asked for one, after she firstly & rudely asked the young man on duty to print it for me, but the young man told her he didn't know how to. I still didn't get the long receipt that the customers always get, which has contact info, so I could log this complaint, she replied the machine isn't printing them. The toilets stank, the chips were tasteless and dry, she had no idea on the parking fines if you park over the hour, as evident when another customer enquired as he believed he'd parked longer than an hour. Customers are under pressure as not to incur parking penalties if they're parked over an hour as with that customer standing next to me. This is rather tricky when you've got slow, unhelpful, rude staff, with a real couldn't careless attitude as I experienced today. I'm in agreement with many others on these reviews, sack them and get staff that provide good customer service, not the rubbish me and others experienced today, the young man exempt, as he was polite and seemed keen to learn, he had the sort of mannerisms that customers expect. Come on KFC don't let your standards slip........ It would be amazing if KFC actually acknowledged these...
Read moreThis place is a complete shambles it is a 24hr Airport Location, and a lot of money spent in it. The place was empty, the staff appear to be very young and untrained. I saw that although the place was empty, there was a large amount of fries already cooked, I pointed this out to the lady who was the " Manager " she said she was about to throw them away and have fresh ones cooked, she would also put napkins out as there were none out, she did neither, I got my standard 3 piece KFC, the Chicken was barely warm the chips were cold, I asked if they could do some fresh fries, was told 2 minutes and they would bring them to our table, they didn't. I went and asked if I could have some hit fries, one of the youngest members of the staff shoved his hand in the bags of fries and said they are hot, I asked if he had received any food safety training, he said he had not, I would him you do not handle the food, the "Manager" brought some hot fries eventually, I asked for sugar for my coffee, she told me they don't have any sugar in the store, and that the had only just got some milk, they had no Sweet Chilli Sauce. In all it took over an hour to get our meal so I expect I will get a ticket in the post. But the parking signs are 10 foot in the air, but if you got a ladder to climb up to read the signs, the print is so tiny you will have difficulty to read it. This is a brand new store, new stores give maximum effort to ensure success. The way this store is run, I think the are running it to ensure it fails. One Star is to many, but is the smallest that can be awarded -5 would be a better classification for this establishment. McDonald's is right next door, go...
Read moreDisastrous place .......if you are planning to park and eat there DONT. I used the drive thru facility, where the entry barrier was not in operation. Was told by the manager that it was inoperable and you can park, it's fine. This is where it turned very sour. Asked for chicken sandwich without mayo as wife has allergies, got one with mayo. Had to wait for fresh one to be made. Overstayed by 17 mins, again my wife needed assistance to use washroom due to spinal condition. 5 weeks later, received a demand for payment of £100 threatening demands etc. No way of appealing or about to speak to anyone from MET parking services as the 28 days to get a POPLA expired, very convenient!
So then contacted KFC Care Squad said that they would look into the matter. Countless emails from myself was futile, dealt with 3 different people who misinformed me and lied to me. Even stating that MET parking are a third party and that they have nothing to do with them. But when the barrier is working you get a ticket that the KFC cashier validates, hmmm nothing to do with MET parking services.......ok.
I could go on but the point is the staff are NOT trained to deal with questions about the site when clearly there was a problem. KFC Care Squad basically will lie to you and are a waste of time trying to explain a genuine problem and could not care less about the THIRD PARTY that they DO work with that try to con and intimidate you by sending threatening demands. I will not ever use a facility like this and basically will never use KFC again. Rant over but bad...
