Artichoke Bake & More — Restaurant in Dacorum

A stroll around Gadebridge with pooch in tow. Looking for somewhere to drink. Due to an unfortunate visit to another vendor who we avoided this time, we thought we would check out Artichoke. Order swiftly made. We sat in their seating area across the road. The staff were lovely, smiley and very helpful. Drinks and food brought out to the table. Drinks were nice and hot so they hadn't been sat around waiting. We only had pastries but they were fresh and flavoursome. The table was cleared when we finished but there was no pressure placed to move, just would we like the space on the table. Will make this our "regular" stop off for our Sunday...

I have been staying in the Old Town for a few days dog sitting and the Artichoke has been my regular port of call for the last four mornings . What a little gem ! The coffee , mine being Chai Latte is delicious and this morning I sampled a croissant fresh out of the oven , best I have ever tasted . The staff are excellent and very attentive add the ambiance of the Old Town Square and the back drop of St Mary's Church and you have the perfect combination . Super nice coffees and great banana bread! Just moved to the area and have been a few times and every time everyone in there has been lovely. My mum is visiting and went early to pick up some focaccia. They said to come back at 9 and it'll be fresh out of the oven. We had to rush off to an appointment and she couldn't get back until after lunch. Decided to try anyway to see if there was some left and they had saved her a bit!
