Brim — Restaurant in Dacorum

After long anticipation i had my meal at BRIM. I am rather disappointed with quality of food, service and prices. I bought BRIM smash 8oz and commando fires. Burgers were oily and greasy, and I meant dripping greasy. Smash Pattie was oily, lack seasoning and flavour and was chewy - clearly more fat in meat than it should be. Bun was ok. Fries were not bad, may be too much sauce on it. No drinks were offered or if there is a meal deal. I paid £25 for 2 burgers and one commando fries- that’s extortionating. I wouldn’t have paid more than £5 for this quality. My honest feedback work on your meat, service, reduce price to come inline with service standards and product quantity to have competitive edge and achieve economies of scales. Grill needs to be cleaned and the oil spill near grill on floor needs to be addressed. Get some decent decor in shop to go with brand. Brim in Hemel Hempstead delivered one of the best burger experiences I’ve ever had. I ordered the Juice Burger, and it was outstanding — perfectly cooked smash-style beef, incredibly juicy and well-seasoned, layered with melted American cheese, fresh lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and their signature Brim sauce, all served in a soft, toasted brioche bun.

The garlic and herb fries were absolutely spot-on: crispy, full of flavour, and the ideal companion to the burger. I also tried the cheesy tots, which were rich, creamy, and topped with crispy onions — a real treat.

The menu is diverse and caters to every preference, including options for beef, chicken, veggie, and even vegan eaters. Everything I tasted was fresh and clearly made with care and quality ingredients.

We have ordered before and the food is amazing. However tonight the service was disgusting. Firstly, one of our items were missing and secondly one of our items were wrong. I called the store and the first time the person I spoke to hung up on me. The second time he told me I would receive a call back, after 10 minutes had passed I still did not get a call back. While we were waiting the rest of the food was cold and it arrived soggy. I finally called back the last time and was passed around until I finally spoke to someone. The lady asked for my name and postcode, after finally getting my information, she proceeded to tell me that our missing item would be sent out with the driver. An hour and a half has passed by and still no missing hot dog. This whole experience is exhausting and the food was not worth it.
