Brunch — Restaurant in Dacorum

Nice and spacious café with lots of seating. Been here twice now and service has been quick both times with friendly waitresses.

Food is okay, nothing to write home about but pretty standard for your average café.

Did have an encounter with an incredibly rude member of staff at the front counter today when paying - I'd mentioned a hot drink wasn't great and I'd had to leave it and apologised profusely and explained I never usually complain but as I didn't drink it could it come off the bill; the young woman didn't even look at me and spoke to the waitress that served us and said "she didn't like the drink" and our waitress told her to take it off the bill but honestly I felt so embarrassed and didn't even get an apology for being served something that wasn't nice.

She handed me the card machine to pay while I continued to say the food was fine and I'm sorry again but she didn't look up and had such an attitude it made me want to avoid again in future.

So rude - maybe make the customer feel okay for being honest especially when they're kind about it - can't imagine how they'd react if someone actually...

Me and my mate stumbled across ' Brunch' while in Hemel . We had two halloumi burgers , chips and two teas. The chips were poor, straw style chips that were hard and over cooked.. Burger but was easily main ingredient in burger and it fell to pieces. My burger bap seemed wet at the bott. Teabag in hot water. Brown sauce was not hp and had a vinegar after taste. Meal was delivered in good time. Table was clean. Staff polite.. Approximately £12.50 each. No toilet in ' Brunch'. Used toilet in shopping centre. Would not eat in...

The food is OK for a Cafe, the staff is OK for the most part, it depends on the mood of the person taking your order.There is an older waiter(Sorry, I don't know his name, so for that reason I mentioned that, he was older than the rest of the staff who were there on Saturday) who was super helpful and very friendly with everyone, not him he took our order but I noticed that he was very kind to everyone, including to us when we went to pay at the counter.Hats off to this...
