Lovely welcoming, traditional English pub set on the edge of Tring Town centre with plenty of parking close by. Excellent pub food came with generous helpings. Cask ale was very well kept and staff were very friendly. Ability to eat outdoors at the back if required although we sat at one of the comfortable tables near the bar. Lovely pub and a delicious food. This is a rare find and such a gem! Had a nice lunch (salad was super fresh and tasty!), beer, toffee pudding and a coffee! Food was awful, presentation awful sent it back had something else wasn’t a lot better, just wanted to add a bit more as the owner is in denial about how burnt it was , for one I didn’t have any tomato ketchup on anything, but it would have given it a massive improvement, as for the so called sea food platter, the haddock was totally full of bones which straight away was a big put off .
