Limited menu, very average food, very poor service I live very near Bluewater and visited Tapas Revolution many times. The main problem with this restaurant is that it doesn't have a proper kitchen. As a result, the menu is limited to what they can produce using their facilities. The quality of the food has always been average at best, but as I love tapas I was usually happy to overlook it - I was just happy to have a meal that had some (usually quite distant) resemblance to what I would have on holidays. But after my last visit, I won't go again - the service was appalling. Our waitress was not very nice or polite, dishes took a very long time to arrive (which is strange, because I don't think they cook anything from scratch). One of our dishes never arrived, and when we told the waitress that (after we'd eaten everything else) she seemed almost angry and said 'So, do you want it or nor?'. No one ever came to check if our meal was ok, no one asked if we wanted another drink (isn't this what a business should do - try to sell more stuff?). The staff did their very best to avoid any eye contact, in case anyone wanted to call them. We ordered two portions of churros for dessert, they delivered one. When we said there should have been two, they brought another portion, completely cold and rubbery. I'd really love to have a decent tapas restaurant to go to, but unfortunately Tapas Revolution...
Read moreI would like to say how happy my wife and I were to be able to enjoy an evening out last night. Unfortunately it wasn’t at Tapas Revolution!!
We had a table booked for 20:30hrs at a local restaurant close to your bar.
Inviting as it is and with plenty of stools for guests, we sat down and talked and decided what we were going to order.
We talked, and we talked, and we talked some more.
Unfortunately the well presented girl behind the bar never welcomed us, never gave eye contact or even acknowledged us. We waited for just under ten minutes!
There were two other guest who were sitting next to us who were going to the cinema ( we heard their life story) as they sipped on their full glasses of cocktails. They were then joined by three more guest and guess what? They were acknowledged and served straight away!
At this time we had another talk (my wife and I) and it was decided that we should leave the bar and make our way down to the restaurant an hour and a half early!!
As we put down the menu and said “let’s just go” the bar tender gave us a look of shock, as if she had done something wrong!
She had, not one of your team had made us feel like guest.
So I would just like to thank you for making us make the right decision by taking our custom elsewhere.
I look forward to your response

Read moreAbsolutely and utterly disgusted is the best way to put it, whatever you do when you’re in bluewater do not go to eat at Tapas Revolution.
I won’t go into too much detail as the pictures speak enough volume…
We were served a dish that wasn’t ours, our food was constantly coming up in the wrong order, one of the main courses came up 20 minutes before the starters,
And to top everything off, the chicken skewers were completely RAW. How they ended up being served to us after apparently being ‘temperature probed’ I will never know.
According to the manager ‘all food before leaving the kitchen is probed to check its optimum temperature’ and that the chicken in his words was ‘a little fatty’.
Pink, cold and slimy chicken apparently just ‘fatty’. This company are playing with people’s health and the people behind it unfortunately are those responsible for ‘cooking your food’. Raw chicken is something that is unbelievably serious and what I was served was dangerous to say the least.
I very very rarely write reviews, however I think it is only right that other people can hear an honest opinion before sitting down to eat at this place.
This review has been made an hour after our meal and not to be too graphic but I have had to make myself vomit to avoid becoming ill…
Avoid, that...
