Bellini Pizzeria Matlock — Restaurant in Derbyshire Dales

We have ordered many times in the past and up until the last couple of orders both service and food have been good. However, more recently things haven't been as expected. Food has started to arrive almost cold or not tasting as fresh, and tonight, when we had waited well over the estimated time and called to ask how long it might be, were greeted with a rude man who snapped down the phone that they were very busy and the app did not give a precise time! Then when it finally did arrive about 2 hours after placing the order it was tasteless. So £30 went in the bin, literally. I would never order from Bellini again, i understand its stressful when busy, but to be so rude down the phone is unacceptable. So much for a relaxing evening and a treat!...

This place is the absolute don! The pizzas are first rate for Matlock and by far the leaders in the area.

My only area for improvement would be their delivery bags; they’re not the latest and greatest like dominos, and as such, the pizzas aren’t quite as steaming hot as you’d like them to be, causing the cheese to set slightly.

However, in spite of this I still rate them 5 stars because the pizzas taste so damn good! Their bases must be made fresh that day because frozen and premade rubbish just doesn’t...

When every shop that I have been to would encourage contactless card payment, this is the ONLY shop at the Covid times that INSISTED on only cash payment. I tried to order some food of £15 in total, and asked if they take Card, which the staff replied no and only STRICTLY cash. He was not friendly and didn't offer to tell me where I could withdraw cash. His body language felt like he was not interested to do business, nor was I interested to part with my money to a shop with such...
