The Bakewell Bakery — Restaurant in Derbyshire Dales

Was let down for quite a large order recently. Did a 50 mile round trip to collect only to find the bakery hadn't delivered the order to the point of sale despite placing it over the phone well in advance. Was always happy to support Small Businesses and Farm Shops etc, even if it meant paying retail prices to support both the Manufacturer and the retail outlet, but loyalty works both ways and I can't afford to waste expensive diesel and my time on making fruitless journeys into another County for orders that aren't honoured. The Bakewell tart pastry is very very salty so much so we couldn’t eat them, we bought two from chatsworth farm shop a couple of weeks ago and phoned the farm shop to complain but they weren’t interested so we phoned and emailed the bakewell bakery again they didn’t seem to bothered and have not replied to our email !!
