Lovely place, very friendly staff and a good choice on the menu.

They were very welcoming and the food was spot on - much needed comfort after having a terrible night’s sleep at the local campsite. Called in again the following morning for a mug of tea and they remembered me from my visit the day before and asked if I’d had a better night’s sleep!

Doggy friendly, with a nice little al fresco area with a lovely view over the River Wye. Easy walk up from Bakewell town centre, or down from Greenhills campsite. There is also plenty of parking nearby for visitors to the Riverside units.

The Tin hut is an absolute gem! I'm lucky to work nearby, so I can eat here a few times every week. I've tried most places in Bakewell and the food here really is the best by quite a long way. Quality ingredients and everything is well made. My usual friday bacon sandwich is always a real treat - on lovely fresh soft bread. My favourite is the Huevos Rancheros, I could (and probably should) eat it for every meal. Todays special of spiced lamb flatbread with garlic potatoes was bloody brilliant. This isn't the usual tourist trap place we have in the peak district that sells fancy looking but mediocre food, It's genuine really good food! I just wish they'd open on...

The Tin Hut Cafe provided the most amazing selection of food for our Mum's surprise birthday party. It all went down a treat with our guests and everyone commented and how lovely it all was. The choice was great, the service fantastic. They were super helpful prior to the event, and very accomodating for all dietary requirements. 100% recommend and 100% recommend you definitely order the Tiffin!! That was delicious.
