Went into Ashbourne to find somewhere for lunch. We walked past Cheddar Gorge and were instantly drawn in! Everything you could want in a deli! Huge selection of different cheeses, sauces, relish, homemade pastries and a plethora of cakes! My husband went for the New York Deli sandwich and was blown away. Pastrami, sauerkraut, gherkins, rocket and soft bread. Photo doesn’t do it justice as he wanted to delve in straight away. We will definitely return the next time we’re in Ashbourne!

Nice small bakery/deli close to the centre of Ashbourne. We enjoyed the baked goods so much that we went twice! The first time we had a cappuccino cake and a rum truffle. The second time we had a rocky road and viennese whirl. The shop has a nice selection of products and the service was good the both times we went. We are looking forward to going again when we are next in Ashbourne.

Quaint cheese and traybakes shop in Ashbourne. Everything looked delicious, from the window display heaving with tasty slices like Millionaire Shortbread and Chocolate Brownies, to the tempting selection of cheeses inside. I could honestly have taken the whole shop home with me, it all looked fabulous.

Since discovering Derbyshire Oatcakes on a holiday in the area recently, I needed to find a mail order source as they are so delicious, so versatile and a lower wheat option to other wrap type products. Cheddar Gorge in Ashbourne was the best option, the website is a little clunky but there’s only a small range to navigate around so not a problem. A delivery date was chosen as part of the checking out process and 6 packs of oatcakes arrived, very well packed. Fabulous service, highly recommended for unusual local...

Expensive for what it is, flies all over the produce and the music is distasteful for a shabby chic style family cafe. Waitresses lovely but manager is just rude and makes you feel like you are a bourdon and he is to busy for you. I was really looking forward to going here and overall I felt disappointed and fed up. I would not recommended, the building is beautiful but that's it...
