If you are a visitor to Ashbourne and have never tried the Bakehouse, I would urge you to go and try some of Lisa's excellent breads and pastries. There are always plenty of samples of bread to try with good olive oil and balsamic vinegars available for dipping. My favourites are the bagel, cream cheese and smoked salmon sandwich accompanied by a cup of some of the Bakehouse's excellent coffee; an almond croissant to follow with another cup of coffee; cheese straws and a summer fruits Danish to take home with a loaf of one of one the excellent sourdough breads.
