Don't order from here if you actually want to receive your food and drinks!
This place has a history of forgetting items in takeaway orders then refusing to even fulfil the missing items if you try to re-order them. Multiple times now I have tried to order food and drinks that just never turned up, then when I try to pay extra to buy the missing items again (paying double for food that I never received), the restaurant refuses to cancel the order yet doesn't provide any alternatives. I can never even predict what items will be missing from their menu because it always varies (something will turn up in one order then not in the next), and they never remove any missing items from their online menus in the first place.
I suspect that this a direct result of their phone lines closing: in the past, they called me to explain any missing items or help me choose different options, but now they just let the order time out until their restaurant closes with no way of getting any help. Their website customer service is also useless and I have given up in trying to be patient with this restaurant when they make mistakes. This would all be fixed if they either re-opened their phone lines or just put in the tiniest effort to adjust their online menus whenever an item...

First of all the lad with dyed ginger hair pretended not to understand what I am ordering because of my accent, then he tried to charge me twice for one chocolate medal, the worst part is he would not let my autistic son sit on his balance bike and he would not even let him walk around, he is 3 years old and has autism, some 3 year old boys without austism behave worse, he was extremely disrespectful, the costas in town or one down at wheatley Hall Road in Next did not seem to have any problems with my son or any other child walking around, I did inform him that my child has autism and he said "I appreciate it but he has to sit in one spot". Read moreThe issue is not the brand it is in the consistency of the baristas in making of the chosen coffee. For example, Cortado often comes out like a milky coffee and not the stronger tasting coffee as you should get.
If Costa are busy then the quality suffers but if you catch them on a normal day then expect to have a good drink!
I am however extremely annoyed at what Costa (Not the franchises) have done with the points. The move to Beans now means you cannot deduct money off your entire bill and if you don't use up your beans within a time frame you lose them! Costa, you ought to be ashamed as these changes will have an adverse effect on people's spending habits...
