I hate eating out: corporate decor and shite plastic bagged food I could better cook myself at home. So this place is an amazing find. Ya really can't imagine how good a restaurant this is. Save ya self a taxi fare to Robin Hood Airport and an air fare to Bulgaria, and go for a really good meal of honest, home- cooked food.

Menus written in Cyrillic and English. 5 star food hygiene, nice toilets (with soap - quite exceptional for Doncaster!) and genuine Bulgarian deco, reflecting the home City of the family proprietors of this restaurant.

The tasty authentic "red sauce" was a new one on me and recommended, only beaten by the stylish Bulgarian beer bottles and local spirits. Seating is under the outdoor canopy, cozy indoor restaurant or private upstairs dining for larger groups. And don't steal the hand painted ceramic dinner plates - gorgeous as they are!

Really helpful and attentive staff, happy to turn the volume down. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

We had chicken in a mushroom, herb & sour cream sauce and 5 magnificent succulent lamb ribs with real chips cooked in proper Yorkshire beef dripping. The house desert was a traditional hand made Bulgarian layered sponge with chocolate - perfect with the local Muskatova!

Don't let my choices dissuade you. There are dozens of dishes that we will be trying on future visits. You go and enjoy!

The food was absolutely outstanding! The lamb ribs I had were cooked to perfection and the cheese sticks are to die for. They are the absolute best I have ever had! The jam that was with them was delicious. The flavor is absolutely divine and ravishing. I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed food this much. The dessert was also delicious and I am most definitely coming back whenever I can. It was just a whole another level of savory and delicious flavors. I don’t think that there was a thing I ate that wasn’t outstanding. I totally recommend coming here. The atmosphere and service is incredible. It’s such a calm atmosphere with amazing staff.
